How is the KRX and KRX4 doing? Lets do a video!

Hey everyone, Jake from Full Access UTV here! It’s been a while—almost a year and a half—but I’m back with updates, insights, and plans for the future. Life’s been chaotic (moving house, building new shops, and tackling life’s curveballs), but we’re finally settled and ready to dive back into UTV life. So, let’s talk about the Kawasaki KRX, my experience with this amazing machine, and what’s in store for 2024!
Reflecting on the KRX Journey
The KRX has been my go-to for off-roading, and over the years, I’ve built three of these beasts: the 2020 green version, the 2021 blue crawler, and now a four-seater. These machines have been rock-solid workhorses, capable of taking you out on adventures and bringing you back without a hitch.
While the KRX didn’t take the market by storm as much as I initially thought, it’s earned a loyal following. Its slow-but-steady reliability stands out in a market often dominated by high-speed turbo machines. If you’re looking for a durable, trail-ready UTV, the KRX is a phenomenal choice.
Strengths and Weaknesses of the KRX
Over four years, I’ve seen the highs and lows of these machines. Here’s my take:
Strengths:
- Bulletproof Suspension: The KRX’s suspension is a standout feature, offering incredible handling and ride quality.
- Reliability: It’s built to take you out on trails and bring you back safely, trip after trip.
- Durability: Components like wheel bearings and tie rods hold up far better than those on other brands.
Common Issues:
- Early Model Quirks: The 2020s had knuckle and wet clutch issues, but Kawasaki handled them with warranties.
- Fuel Pumps: Over time, some owners are experiencing fuel pump failures—a sign of wear after years of use.
- Dealership Woes: Some problems arise not from the machine itself but from poor assembly or service at dealerships. Always check your UTV after purchase and consider an extended warranty.
Pro Tips for KRX Owners
If you’re thinking about buying a KRX, here’s what you need to know:
- Invest in an Extended Warranty: A Kawasaki-backed extended warranty is worth every penny. It covers costly repairs, like differentials and engine issues, and ensures peace of mind.
- Watch Your Dealer: Be cautious of dealers pushing third-party warranties. Stick with Kawasaki’s official coverage.
- Inspect Your Machine: Before hitting the trails, double-check your UTV’s assembly. Poor setup at the dealership can lead to issues down the road.
What’s Next for Full Access UTV?
The past year may have been chaotic, but my creativity never stopped. We’ve got exciting new products and projects in the pipeline, specifically designed for the KRX and KRX 4. From upgraded fuel pumps to innovative clutch springs, we’re committed to enhancing your off-road experience.
This year, we’re also gearing up for UTV Conquest 2024. My family and I are bringing a trailer full of gear (and the four-seater!) to tackle the Rubicon Trail. It’s going to be an adventure, and we can’t wait to share the experience with you—if we have time to film amidst the fun!
Closing Thoughts
The Kawasaki KRX remains one of the best off-road machines I’ve ever worked with. It’s reliable, tough, and perfect for trail enthusiasts who value durability over speed. If you’ve been on the fence about getting one, now’s the time—just make sure you pair it with an extended warranty and thorough dealer checks.
Thanks for sticking with me and my family during this hiatus. We’re excited to be back, and we’ve got so much planned for this year. Stay tuned for more videos, product releases, and UTV adventures!
