Want more power for your KRX 1000 2 seater or 4 seater? Kraftwerks Performance Supercharger System is the perfect solution. This easy to install kit performs in the harshest conditions, delivering massive power gains, instant throttle response throughout the RPM band, and huge acceleration improvement without compromising reliability or drivability.

The factory KRX makes 80 horsepower at the wheels with its 1000cc powerplant. The Kraftwerks KRX Supercharger System reliably provides a walloping 50+ HP more - that is a 60%increase over stock for a total 130+ WHP*. Because the belt driven supercharger compressor is coupled to the KRX engine crankshaft, the extra punch in power is instant and without boost lag.

At the heart of the system is a highly efficient centrifugal blower that creates boost without creating a lot of heat. The blower unit incorporates an internal oil pump to circulate oil through an independent cooling circuit for improved cooling and lubrication. Less heat means more power and greater dependability.

Because hot air makes less horsepower than cold, all Kraftwerks Supercharger Systems include a highly efficient  aluminum intercooler that significantly cools the air charge before it reaches the engine. The intercooler is mounted using CNC machined aluminum brackets and sits just behind the rear seats, in the free air above the rear deck. A blow off valve is included and configured to recirculate into the intake.

The compact supercharger mounts to the engine using a specially designed CNC aluminum mounting bracket that is environmentally sealed and protects the pulleys and drive belt from sand, dirt, mud, or snow.

This complete supercharger system is an easy bolt on upgrade, with no metal cutting, welding, or fabrication needed. Detailed instructions are included with installation time of about 5 to 8 hours.

Below was instructions to keep your crank adapter from coming loose "PRE" our fix kit.

March 7th, 2022 Update. 
The kraftwerks KRX 1000 directions need some updating about direction # 20. Please note the following for installation. 
1. Be very careful using RED loctite in aluminum! These engine are brittle pot metal aluminum. Be sure "your brand loctite" specifies safe for aluminum or use BLUE to be safe. 
20-A. please drain the engine oil first.
20-B. A rotor holder tool is suggested. The link to them is above.
20-C. Clean the gasket surface on the side cover and block. scrape off the old gasket and clean with carb or brake clean.
20-D. Silicone is required in 3 spots while installing the new seal. 
20-E. Install the side cover with the bolts and torque to .74 ft lbs.  Not 74

Direction 30 and 31: The crank adapter is slipping! Here is our fix.
Clean oil off the end of the crank. Hand sand the end of the crank and kraftwerks crank adapter with 60 grit or similar sandpaper. Generally apply red loctite to the end of the crank adapter where it will meet the crank. (example: putting 2 washers together, loctite goes in the center)
Also put loctite on the crank bolt threads and the acorn tapper of the bolt. When torquing down, torque it to 133 ft lbs. Not the 100 specified in the directions. Be sure to let the loctite have a minimum of 24 hours to set up before starting the machine. 
Once the above is done however. It will be VERY difficult to loosen or ever remove the bolt without spinning the motor backwards.
